Plant protection cooperation memorandum

A memorandum of understanding was signed between the National Forestry Agency and the Batumi Botanical Garden. The memorandum envisages scientific and technical cooperation in the field of plant protection, development of the use of modern technologies for plant protection, as well as sharing of experience in methods of combating forest pests. Within the framework of the memorandum, training and seminars will be held to raise the qualification of the staff; joint activities were also planned to popularize the activities and raise public awareness.

The memorandum of cooperation was signed by the Head of the National Forestry Agency Archil Nikoleishvili and the Director of the Batumi Botanical Garden Irakli Archaia.
