At the initiative of the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture, a planting action was held in Kutaisi, on the territory of the 2nd public school, which was joined by the beneficiaries of the "Magic World", the Kutaisi Children with Disabilities Day Center. The pupils planted about 30 cypress and pine seedlings, which they will take care of themselves.

An eco-lesson on the importance of forest, conservation, and protection of biodiversity, as well as the role of forest in the development of the country, was held in an interactive mode for the upper classes of the 2nd public school. The pupils got comprehensive answers to their questions from the heads of the National Forestry Agency.

March 21 was recognized as International Forest Day by the UN General Assembly in 1971. The purpose of this day is to raise public awareness about the importance of the forest.
